Short stories

Along with Blume I have been blessed enough to have five short stories published on a literary website. Also, I am working on another short story entitled Fields of Roses, about deceit, propaganda, evil, and brainwashing, that I will be submitting to a short science fiction writing contest in August. New Version of Blume

Blume is back!

Blume is once again available on Amazon. Sorry for the wait but I am sure that you will love the new version. It took some time off to be edited and revised and even got a few new scenes and dialogue added, and even a brand new beginning. Check it out!

Blume's back!

Blume should be available on Amazon.com within the next few days. Sorry for the time off, but it needed a couple touch-ups and to be reuploaded. It is currently available on the creatspace site, listed as Blume paperback under my links section, and should be on Amazon shortly if not right now. I'm sorry I recently reported that Blume is still available on Amazon but it is currently out of stock. I will post back up here when it is available again.

Blume is still available on Amazon.com for purchase. It is currently undergoing a make-over process on the publication site and will not be available on there for a couple days. Once the new version is uploaded and available it will appear on Amazon as the new version, but during this time the first version of the novel will still be available through Amazon's website.

New version of Blume

If you have not ordered Blume and want to it will not be available for a couple days as it is in the process of a make over. There were a couple of small mistakes that I wanted to get cleaned up. It will be available on Amazon again after this process is completed. I'm sorry for this mishap.

For anyone who is interested in reading Blume, the novel just took a big step and is now available on Amazon.com. I am currently working on getting it available on Barnes and Noble's online site and in local Phoenix area bookstores.

If you are interested in reading Blume in EBook version it is available on http://www.smashwords.com/ to download for five dollars.  It will be available soon for the Nook on Barnes & Noble's EBook site, and for the Kindle and Sony reader on their respective sites after it goes through smashwords premium catalog.

Publication date pushed back

I want to apologize, I previously stated that the book would be published and released today, but as of right now it is not ready. It is currently undergoing the review process to ensure that the formatting is correct, also I have to make one minor change. I am setting the release date to April 9th. I expect for it to be finished before that time but to make sure that this doesn't happen again, the 9th will be the date. If it is finished before that date I will let you all know. Thanks

Here's a sneak peak snippet from the book (excerpt Ch.5)

The hatch swung open revealing bleak darkness.  The air cracked and whistled as it cleaved through the black abyss.  A sultry breeze pricked Allison’s face.  The air was muggy and hot.  Allison took in a breath and coughed as it burnt her throat and lungs.  She pulled her shirt up over her nose and squinted her eyes through the burning wind.  She rotated herself around the circular opening, trying to make out anything through the darkness.  Allison stopped rotating as a fascinating sight caught her attention.  A thin stream of golden light a few feet away stretched down from the heavens, like the cord on an angel’s harp.  Bits of ash floated through it like dirty snowflakes.  Allison endured the sweltering air and opened her eyes wide in astonishment.  Through the looming clouds a single strand of glossy sunlight reached down and elegantly touched the ashy earth.  Allison pulled herself out from the tunnel and made her way to the light, feeling her way with her hands.   She stumbled over a few things as she walked but managed to get there safely.  She stopped just inches from the heavenly glow and examined it closely with her eyes.  She slowly slipped her hand under the radiant beam and felt its warm touch tickle her skin.  She followed the ray of light up to its source and watched as it gradually faded until it melted in with the darkness above.  Allison walked her eyes back down the glistening sunbeam before falling down to her knees at its base.  There on the ground, amongst the layer of ash, sprouted a tiny green plant, reaching up into the sunlight. 

Synopsis

	Eleven year old Allison Blume and her family are foced to move into the underground bunker city of New Hope after an experimental atomic bomb test creates an immense mushroom cloud, blocking out the sun and casting the world within its radius into darkness. Allison must overcome her juvenile ways in order to rise above the fears lurking in the shadows and bring light back to a darkened world.

The beginning of the Blume Blog!

The Blume website is officially up and running! I have a long way to go but it's going to be a fun journey and hopefully something sparks in the process. Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported me with this project so far, it's much appreciated. Sorry that the page isn't updated and pretty but I'm working on it, and I'll have it done soon. In the meantime check out the short synopsis of the book and the Blume facebook page.  I'll be getting pictures up soon, and maybe even put up a couple of my pre-written short stories for your viewing pleasure and to give you an idea of what Blume will be like.
